Abstract

From the analysis of al the preserved manuscripts of the first Aragones code, that is to say, both the Compilatio minor and the Compilatio maior by Vidal de Canellas, and of the preceding prefaces and of the local law writers comments, unpublished so far, a hypothesis is posed trying to explain the sources and the relation between the two works and its later history
