The article aims to describe the set of crimes against the social morals and good customs (especially the sexual behaviour considered dangerous or contrary to the institution of marriage) in the Eisagoge tou nomou (c. 886), a legal compendium attributed to Photius (c. 810 – c. 893), the famous scholar and Patriach of Constantinople.
