Freedom of expression, political truth and post-truth. Reflections from a legal-history perspective

Abstract

This work contributes to a multidisciplinary research project on the post-truth phenomenon, and it analyzes the origin and development of the right to freedom of speech and freedom of the press, as well as its legal limits. Its main objective is to understand the legal relation between freedom of expression, public opinion, political discourse and the post-truth.
