The present article tries to relate the connection of Law and Literature. In particular, the translation of medieval scholastic teaching into Hermann Hesse's play, The glass bead game, has been approached, in which a utopian society is described where, as in the Late Middle Ages, the search for knowledge and dialectical discussion Prevail over any other material wealth, title or honor.
