Abstract

The Framework Decision to create an European Arrest Warrant was assimilated Spanish law through Law 3/2003 of March 14. Since then, the new process replaces the extradition in then Member States of the European Union. The extradition, a heavy and complex process will be replaced for a new and strictly judicial system, much more agile and simple. The development of the negotiations that led to its approval will be studied in this paper.
