It examines the organisation of the municipalities of the towns conquered by the Catholic Monarchs in the kingdom of Granada, devoting special attention to the organisation of the municipality of Almería, mainly after the granting of the Fuero Nuevo in 1495 and the ordinances of 1558, which it publishes as an appendix.
