University education in the Seven-Part Code

Abstract

This brief presentation does not attempt to summarise what is said in the Partidas of Alfonso the Wise about universities or studies.  Rather, we will try to make an approximation to the sources of these texts to see if the writers of the Partidas are based on the Castilian reality or if they reflect foreign realities.
